Turkey Hunting in the Francis Marion National Forest
The Spring 2008 turkey season in Game Zone 6 (includes Charleston and Berkeley Counties) runs from March 15-May 1 on private lands and in the Francis Marion Wildlife Management Area is open from April 1-May 1. 
Turkey tags are required and there is a bag limit of 2 in WMA and 5 on private lands. There are a nuumber of restrictions on weapons, where to hunt, what to shoot and how to do it. For complete detail about the Spring 2008 Turkey Season, down load the turkey hunt brochure from SCDNR.
